Pay Out for the Futurity and Derby:
• First and second go - 25% of total money
• Short Go - 10% of total money
• Average - 40% of money
• 30 or under entries, pays 4 monies in each go and average.
• 30-60 entries, pays 6 monies in each go and average.
• 60-80 entries, pays 8 monies in each go and average
• 80 and over entries, pays 10 monies on each go and average.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1.) ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON!!!!
2.) Decisions on any matter will be made by the Diamond N Ranch Futurity & Derby committee, the decision made will be final.
3.) Horse substitution will be accepted, up until two weeks prior to the Futurity & Derby, and the substitution will require a $100.00 fee.
4.) Rider substitution will be accepted for no charge - you must notify the office of the rider substitution prior to the first go in the Futurity & Derby.
5.) The arena schedule is included in this package and will be on the web site, the stated schedule will be followed unless notification of changes are made.
6.) Please do not tie horses to the arena fence.
7.) During time onlies, only one horse will be allowed in the arena on the bought time. There is plenty of room outside the arena to wait your turn and warm up.
8.) During the Futurity and Derby the arena will be worked after every five names on the program.
9.) Running order will be drawn for the first go, reverse order for the second go and the short go will run slowest to fastest time on the average of two runs.
10.) The top 12 on the average of two runs, will return in the afternoon of the 14th for the short go.
11.) All dogs must be on a leash.
12.) Dress code will be in effect for those competing and those receiving prizes and awards.
13.) Inhumane treatment of horses will not be tolerated, and will result in disqualification
14.) Entrants/ Competitors and owners will be responsible for themselves and their horses. Competitors must be ready when called , or they will forfeit their run.
15.) All horses will be subject to a mandatory examination to confirm age and identification. Any horse examined and found to be ineligible due to actual age or identification will be disqualified.
16.) On the 14th upon the completion of the Derby short go, the awards presentation will begin. All awards recipients must be present in order to receive their award(s).
17.) Completion of Entry form and / or payment of entry fees will indicate acceptance of all rules and regulations governing the Diamond N Ranch Futurity and Derby - 2005. Not withstanding anything to the contrary herein contained, it is understood that each contestant and owner, waives all claims against the Diamond N Ranch, organizing body, workers, etc.. for any injury, loss or damage which may result in anyway from the operations or activities of the Diamond N Ranch Futurity and Derby - 2005.
Additional Event Information:
• This year we will be presenting an amateur award in the Futurity. In order to be eligible you can not hold a full CPRA or WPRA card, and you can not have ever won $500.00 in any futurity or derby event.
